Identity is reshaped. A spotlight shines on your needs, wants, and desires AND your willingness to declare them. How you take action is emphasized. Where are you imbalanced in your relationship to your own desires? Scorpio will ask us to dig deep, look underneath our pretty, carefully crafted surface-level facades. Where do we lie to ourselves about what we want? It will also ask us to be honest about where we are so scared of not getting what we want, that we unconsciously possess or dominate. Where do we hold too tight of a grip and give into control?
2nd House
Security is reshaped. Venus rules the second house, so for you, the themes of self-worth, inner and outer security, trust, finances, legacy, physical comfort and health will be key factors to re-evaluate. Do you feel secure in yourself? What would you need to feel more secure in times like these, which are so viscerally abundant in uncertainty? This may play out in love, money, health, your mindset, or all of the above. Scorpio will expose the shadows & cracks, Libra will bring self-compassion to the areas that are still building that strong foundation, brick by brick.
3rd House
Communication is reshaped. Do your words reflect your self-value? Do you ask for what you need? Share your wildest dreams and off-beat ideas? Mercury rules the third house, so one could say you’re getting a dress rehearsal or some extra prep time for the Mercury Retrograde that will hit the collective a few weeks later. If you have a sibling, I’d explore your relationship to them as a metaphor for other areas of your life. Siblings can play a special role in a third house person’s life, but whether you have planets stationed there or not, valuable lessons can be learned via our siblings when a retrograde passes through this house.
4th House
Mothering is reshaped. Whether or not you are a mother, this retrograde will play out in the realm of your home and family life. That may look like flashes of insight or repressed memories resurfacing from your childhood, nostalgia luring you into the depths of unprocessed grief, or a need to reparent yourself (stepping into your inner Mother). Where do you feel at home in the world, and what values do you build the foundation of your home upon? Are those values present in how you and your family live? Would beautifying your home bring greater satisfaction, self-worth, or perceived value? Don’t judge these desires. Libra will remind you that the most beautiful qualities of a home & family that shine from the outside, are nurtured on the inside first and foremost.
5th House
Expression is reshaped. You’re most beautiful when you’re playful. When you lean into your carefree, childlike spirit. This retrograde will invite you to dance, sing, paint, kiss, laugh, and be your most untamed self. This is how you feel your value. It’s not about thinking anymore, it’s about living. It’s about embodying your joy and sharing it openly with others. If something in you isn’t being expressed, but rather tip-toeing behind the curtain, patiently waiting for its moment in the spotlight, it’s your responsibility to give that gift to yourself. It’s up to you to honor your self value and to love on your creations. Your relationship with play needs some time in the sun.
6th House
Discipline is reshaped. Discipline for the sake of discipline is out. Devotion to things we love, value, and find genuinely attractive to our soul is in. Routines are changeable, adaptable. They can be custom built at any moment to suit our ever-changing lives, goals, and needs. Where do your habits and routines not serve you and the life you want to build? Where does your day-to-day life not match up with your values? Do you even know what your values are, truly? Get practical during this retrograde. Do a value audit and make a list (long or short) of what you value, what you desire, what you find beautiful in dreaming about the future, then break that down into tiny, achievable steps. Slow and steady wins the race.
7th House
Relating is reshaped. Venus also rules the seventh house, but in this territory, relationships are front and center. This can, of course, be a hardcore inventory of your romantic relationship, post-mortem analysis of past relationships, family, professional or platonic relationships. Values are your compass. Beyond the beautiful veneer, does the interior match the exterior? All that glitters isn’t gold. You’ll be made keenly aware of any areas where your relationship to something or someone drains you, hurts you, or limits you. But, before tossing the baby out with the bath water, ask yourself – is there a better way I can relate to this thing or this person? Power is reshaped. Feeling a sense of personal power requires a level of self-value. The interplay of Scorpio and Libra during this retrograde season will illuminate where you outsource your power. Do you find power in others more attractive than witnessing it within yourself? Do you find power in others ugly, and therefore resist it within yourself? Power and beauty are interwoven in this story, as what we idolize or adore, we give power to. What parts of yourself do you find beautiful, powerful, valuable? Expansion is reshaped. Where we place our attention, our energy goes, and what we feed with our energy will always grow. Values aren’t just statements of ideals, true values are exposed in our actions. What you give your attention to is expanding, and this retrograde will make that crystal clear. The ninth house dreams big. If your self-worth can’t currently hold the vast terrain of your loftiest dreams, then it’s time to place your energy on affirming your many gifts and strengths. Scorpio will bring pressure to anywhere you’re playing small, but Libra & Venus will dance together to imbibe optimism into the adventures your soul is longing for.
10th House
Status is reshaped. Do you feel your value is based on social standing? Scorpio is daring you to be very honest this retrograde. Matters of career, climbing the social ladder, achievement, and legacy may be on your mind. But if you spend a lifetime climbing a mountain that isn’t aligned with your soul’s deeper values and true desires, then what was it all for anyway? Freedom is reshaped. It’s ironic to me, how the eleventh house represents freedom and also community. And yet, it makes perfect sense. In order to have a thriving, respectful community, each member needs to feel sovereign, respected, and free. You may find yourself reassessing your place in group dynamics, community settings, or even a family system. That Scorpio intensity will add pressure to anywhere you feel constrained, but Libra nudges you to approach breaking free from a balanced, fair, and harmonious stance. This isn’t flip them the bird and run for the hills energy – this is honor yourself AND honor others, set boundaries you need, and prioritize you time so you can show up to the community as your best self.
